December 2023
Welcome to the December edition of Hope News, where we celebrate the season of hope, healing, and freedom in Christ. This month, we are reminded of the light that shines brightly even in the darkest of times.
In this edition, our founder (Jason Schlabach) shares a heartfelt message of inspiration and encouragement. He reminds us that our hope for the world is found in Christ, who resides within each of us. As despair and uncertainty loom, we are called to be beacons of hope and joy, proclaiming the Gospel of peace and goodwill to all.
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men."
Waterfalls and Waves (Jesse Mullet )
Through hope and resilience the Waterfalls to Waves Charity Bicycle Ride spanned 1,816 miles from Niagara Falls to Key West, Florida. This 10-day journey wasn't just a ride—it's a mission to raise funds for Door of Hope at the Ridge, supporting women survivors of severe trauma and abuse.
Led by Jesse Mullet and four other riders, this charitable endeavor honors Jesse's grandfather, Mel Mullet, and aims to create a brighter future for survivors. Each participant pedals tirelessly, symbolizing their commitment to empowering those who have faced unimaginable challenges. This edition of Hope News recounts their testimonies and experiences.
Together, let's continue to support this transformative cause, turning miles into meaningful change and spreading waves of hope and healing across our communities. Join us in making a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.
